Media Transfer Test
The media transfer test is to test the operators ability to perform aseptic transfers in the laminar flow hood. The test is a double dilution skills test.
Ten times concentrated growth media, sterile water, needles and syringes are needed to perform the test.
Xml of clean air is drawn into the syringe.
The air is injected into the sterile water vial.
5 mL of the sterile water is withdrawn from each vial with a separate syringe.
