Using MultiAdd Equipment
If a number of lyophilized vials are to be reconstituted, a multiadd metering device to deliver the diluent will increase the efficiency of reconstitution. The key part of the sterile set is a three way valve and syringe used for metering the diluent.
Pictured above is the multiadd set and bag of sterile water for injection.
The cover of the outlet tube is removed.
The uncovered outlet tube is held in the laminar flow air.
The intravenous solution vented spike is uncovered.
The intravenous solution outlet tube must be held firmly as the vented spike is inserted.
