Using Syringes and Needles Continued

Hold the syringe by the barrel (a non critical site) with four fingers firmly.

Push the plunger in to seat and loosen the plunger.

The needle cover (a noncritical site) is removed by grasping the needle cover between two fingers of the left hand and pulling the needle cover straight off.

Do no twist the needle cover as this will unscrew the needle from the syringe.
