6. Holding the syringe in a horizontal position in the laminar flow air,

grasp the LuerLok connector cover with the left hand thumb and first finger.

Turn the syringe counterclockwise and unscrew the syringe from the

LuerLok connector cover.

7. Roll the left hand to the right and connect the needle hub to the syringe.

Turn the syringe counterclockwise to lock the needle on the syringe.

Do not over torque the needle as the needle-syringe connection may leak.
